There has been much speculation on what's going on with Katie and Chris's relationship ever since that piece in Page Six came out last week.
It's always been KHP's policy to avoid posting rumors (remember the "Is Katie pregnant?" period?) in the news section, but it included a response from Katie's reps, so we felt it was worth sharing.
That said, here's a tidbit from In Touch magazine (Sept. 27th) that will hopefully put an end to all the talk...
Yes and No
Are Chris and Katie still engaged? YES
When Dawson's Creek beauty Katie Holmes and her fiance, American Pie star Chris Klien, were spotted arguing at Maggiano's, an LA eatery, tongues wagged that the adorable couple was calling it quits. " They came in holding hands, sat alone, and during the dinner Klien was heard delivering classic breakup lines like'I need space,' and ' It's not you, it's me,' " reported the New York Post.
Though the photogenic couple, who got engaged last christmas, has not announced a wedding date yet, Katie and Chris are still planning to marry. The argument, says Katie's rep, was over their new house, not about ending their new house, not about ending their five year relationship.
