Katie Holmes hits a slump at The Day After Tomorrow's London premiere. We love her pale yellow and green chiffon Armani frock, bright yellow leather shoulder bag and sea green pumps. But how we wish this statuesque babe would stand up for herself. It's like mom always said: Nothing ruins a good dress like bad stature. Chin up, shoulders back! That's much better.

First Daughter director Forest Whitaker spoke to students at the N.C. School of the Arts, and it looks like he talked a lil about the film:
Whitaker went on to give the audience a humorous inside look at production of his latest film, “First Daughter,” which he directed and is due out in November. The film, which stars Katie Holmes, centers around the daughter of the president who adapts to a new life in college. Whitaker shared his struggle over the movie’s plot, script rewrites, personnel changes on the set, conflicts with set designers and the death of the film’s musical composer. The trials and tribulations of this film, said Whitaker, proved to be an opportunity for him to evolve personally and professionally.
“The story of this film is about someone finding their voice and destiny, and that was the journey that I had to take,” Whitaker said. “I tell you this because I realized that I have to remember to always leave room to improve my craft. I have to maintain a clear vision and not let anything intervene. I have to follow my passion and stay on the path to reach my destiny.”
