Thanks again to Mandy for this :) From Michael Fleming's column in Variety LIOTTA, ELDARD FILL 'BOOTH' Ray Liotta and Ron Eldard will join Colin Farrell in "Phone Booth," which shoots in late November. Pic takes place entirely in a phone booth, where a publicist (Farrell) picks up a ringing phone, only to find an assassin's on the other end. Liotta will play Capt. Ramey, who tries to help the publicist, while Eldard plays the psycho sharpshooter. Helmer Joel Schumacher's shooting the pic for three days in Gotham, but plans to do everything there were scratched because of the cooling weather. Talks are also under way with Radha Mitchell ("Pitch Black"), and the producers are angling for Katie Holmes, if her "Dawson's Creek" sked allows. Upcoming for Liotta are MGM's "Hannibal" and "Heartbreaks" and New Line's "Blow" and "John Q." Both he and Eldard (the "ER" vet who just finished appearing in "Death of a Salesman" in L.A.) are repped by Endeavor and managed by Evelyn O'Neill of Talent Entertainment Group. |
