I mentioned on today's previous post that Keith Gordon (the director of The Singing Detective) has been posting on the IMDb mb, replying to posters questions about the film, etc. A poster (splaj109) there asked: Hey! just wanted to know about her role, does she have an important character? How long is she onscreen in the movie? does she dance a little?.... Keith replied: Hi, Katie is wonderfully sweet, and a terrific actress. She plays Robert Downey's nurse, the only person who treats him kindly, and whom he trusts. He's a bit obsessed with and in love with her, which she doesn't really realize, because of her youth and inexperience. She's onscreen for about 20 or 25 minutes. She does dance and lip-sync, which she did very well, and with a great sense of fun. Hope that helps, Keith I think it's cool that Mr. Gordon takes time out of his schedule to answer questions from fans :) |
