This "First Daughter" set report comes c/o Dark Horizons: First Daughter: 'Like a Tack' has delivered an impressive set report from the Katie Holmes flick with plot and sequence filming details - "I learned that the movie is about the daughter (Katie Holmes) of the President of the United States going to college. In one scene Katie Holmes walks into a school protest and doesn't figure out till later that the student body is protest against her father. Another scene takes place at a school fair, and Katie Holmes slides down a makeshift waterslide. Later on durring filming, a scene is shot at a very nice house where a Fraturnity party is heald durring the movie. Cars are parked on the lawn and students are all over the property getting drunk, playing ping pong, cards, and are swimming in the pool. Be sure to look for the blowup dolls floating in the pool. Durring the scene, a very hot Katie Holmes comes out in a blue bikini and sits in a chair near the pool, while the secret service keep on guard. As she sits, 4 guys come out mock dancing to a rock song rendition of Hail to the Chief. The dance around her, shake there rears and hold her chair in the air with her in it. While this is going on, a guy comes out holding a gun. The secret service tackle him to the ground, grab Katie Holmes, throw her in a black suburban and take off down the drive way. The secret service later find out that the gun the guy was holding was a water gun". Coming Soon! reports that actor Toby Moore has joined the cast of First Daughter. According to his official site, he will play the supporting role of a Sigma Chi fraternity member named ‘Hanger.’ Have received quite a few emails about the upcoming release of the DC series finale DVD. Some folks think it's a hoax, others have asked if it will be released in the UK, etc. Well, Camdish at the DC message board has found a site that has the DVD for presale: Dawson's Creek - Series Finale Looks like it's a Region one release only, which makes sense as the series is still showing first-run episodes in many places around the world. Hopefully, Amazon will have a link up for the DVD soon, and I ask that if possible please purchase your DDVD there, as it helps out the site :D Noticed a lil Katie mention in an article about how "the WB is building a stable of sexy, young actors whose faces will brighten the screen for years and increase the network's cachet:" Jordan Levin, WB's 35-year-old head of entertainment, is proud of the blank looks he gets after asking people to name the young female lead of NBC's American Dreams (it's Brittany Snow). Surely those same folks know Katie Holmes from Dawson's Creek, who now has a promising film career and once hosted Saturday Night Live.
