Thanks to CocaCola for posting this on the mb :)Joel Schumacher interviewed Colin Farrell in the April 2003 issue of Interview magazine (the one with Jack Nicholson on the cover) about Phone Booth. Here's what was said about Katie:
JS: And didn't you and everyone else fall in love with Katie?
CF: She's a peach. Remember the scene in the coffee shop? In between takes she was smoking a cigarette, leaning against the bar, and you said, "Roll the camera," and you had 25 psychopaths behind the monitor, just looking at her breathing. She's one of those beautiful women who, when you meet them, are even more beautiful because there's a gentleness and an integrity that comes across.
JS: Until you started saying filthy things in front of her.
CF: Well, that's what you do when you get nervous in front of pretty girls. [Schumacher laughs] You start saying words like c**t. Very smooth.
