Jason: Hello Paula. I checked your information and it turns out you are correct. It seems the movie starring Katie, Mel Gibson, Robin Wright Penn, and Robert Downey Jr. does indeed have a scheduled release date for May 30th. For those of you not in the know, “The Singing Detective” is based on a 1986 TV miniseries of the same name. Val Kilmer’s ex Joanne Whalley played Katie’s part. Yes, I’m that smart.
