What is going on with the Dawson's Creek gang these days? First, James Van Der Beek shocks us with Rules of Attraction, now Katie Holmes plays the lead in the psychological thriller, Abandon.
What attracted you to this role?
When I read the script, I was so drawn to the story. I love that it took place on a college campus. I think so many stories can be told about students. You're on your own for the first time, your heart is breaking, you are working so hard. All this stuff is happening to you. Plus, I can recognize great writing when I see it. Stephen Gaghan (who also wrote the Academy Award winning screenplay for Traffic) is incredible.
