In the tragic comedy Katie plays the 21-years-old wild April Burns, having big problems with her family. When the whole bunch - parents, brothers, sisters and Grandmother - come together from Pennsylvania to New York for Thanksgiving, one disaster after the other happens. Interesting: Peter Hedges, Writer of the movie "Gilbert Grape" (with Johnny Depp and Leonardo DiCaprio) makes his directing debut with "Pieces Of April". The movie comes out to German theatres.
