Well, I posted a news story on October 19th (here) that stated a few sites had listed the premiere date for Katie's film Abandon as being March 29th, 2002.Over the weekend, Martin posted a news item on the message board saying that a site he visited (CinemaQuebec.com) has posted the release date as August 30th, 2002.
Now this morning I was watching the Today Show and Benjamin Bratt was being interviewed. Here's what he had to say;
After "Pinero", I worked with Stephen Gaghan who won for Screenwriting in Traffic. I did a film called "Abandoned" (Abandon), it's a psychological thriller costarring Katie Holmes. That should come out in September of 2002.
Sigh..it seems like this movie keeps getting pushed further and further back :(
I'll keep everyone informed if I hear anything else.
