We have heard Katie sing on Rosie, and as Joey Potter a few times on Dawson's Creek. Well it seems as though Katie/Joey will be singing again soon. :) On the website for the band Feel Love Fury, they mention that both Busy (Phillips) and Katie were in the studio recording songs for an upcoming DC episode. Here is what was posted at the bands site: message dated sunday 03 november 2001 the recording sessions for the next feel love fury appearance on dawson's creek were completed this week. the band again recorded two cover songs and an original song. the cover songs, son of a preacher man and i want you to want me will feature busy phillips and katie holmes on vocals, respectively. the original song, what the hell, was hand-picked by the producers for the scene, which will be filmed next week. the recording sessions were well documented, as will be the filming of the show, so this time, there will be plenty of pictures for you to check out. stay tuned.. I guess that appearance fell through as Gwyneth Paltrow will be hosting instead. Sorry for any confusion....
