Thanks to Mike for supplying us with this info :) There is a lil pic of Katie in the most recent Us Weekly Us Weekly, November 5, 2001; page 49 Cover story is "New Hollywood Hair; 20 Fall styles that will work for you." A 2-page section entitled "Television Tresses" which features pictures of current TV stars with great hair. At the top of the page next to the title: "Hair on the small screen always makes a big impact, inciting trends, imitators and controversy." The section Katie is in is a subsection called "Heads above the rest" which reads "Whether it's a new do or a signature style, these sexy TV stars get it right." The pics include several WB stars (as you can see from the pic I sent you) including Katie, looking delicious as always with her straight brown, seemingly UN-Lumia'ed hair. I can only assume that each of the stars pictured are included in their "20 Fall styles" because they only mention 6 stars in the article before hitting this "TV Tresses" page which has 15 stars. Interestingly, one of the subsections of "TV Tresses is "Red Hot," which shows 4 brown-haired actresses (Albatross, Debra Messing, Melissa Joan Hart & Erica Leerhsen) who have dyed their hair red. Katie's reddish hair from the Lumia ad is not included, but she is across the page in the "Heads above the rest." "I loved being a redhead," says Hart. "But it's the hardest color to get out."
I saw this lil piece in the new DC newsletter from dawsonscreek.com. The cast and crew had a Halloween party, which Anna took pictures of, none of which are printable she claims. "Well, James was a pimp and Katie went as Marilyn Monroe. Busy dressed up as Valentine Barbie. She got an even blonder wig and wore a long, crinoline (is that how you spell it?) dress with hearts on it and sparkly red, very high heels. She carried a heart shaped box of candy attached to her arm with a strap. Michelle was Angelinia Jolie. She wore leather pants and wife beater and a long black wig and a vial of blood around her neck, courtesy of Busy's craftiness. She also had the dragon tattoo...though not literally..." |
