Hello Friends, As a citizen of the United States and a resident of New York City, all of my thoughts have been with those who have been affected by the dastardly acts perpetrated on my city and the country on 9/11. I know it's cliché, but it does put things in perspective - as the thought of looking for Katie Holmes news or pictures now seems so trivial. Many of you have already made donations to the Red Cross or other organizations to help the victims of this tragedy. I'm asking you to please help again if you can. Many of the dead and missing in my city were those who ran toward the flaming towers. I have good friends in the Fire Department, and as I write this, the estimate is that some 300 firefighters are missing. Also missing are roughly 60 police officers. The sorrow and grief that their families must be feeling is unimaginable. Below I'm going to be listing places that you can send donations for the families of these fallen heroes.
