Among those attending were film director Ron Howard, Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes, Cuba Gooding Jr., Morgan Freeman and pugilist Pauly Shore. The event featured ice-skating for the blade-challenged as well as performances from ice superstars Sasha Cohen and Surya Bonaly. Virginia Madsen, Mark Ruffalo, Smashing Pumpkin Billy Corgan and Martin Landau were also met by real reindeer, snow, carolers, cookie decorating stations, the real Grinch and Frosty the Snowman.
