Newlyweds Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise reunite with some of their wedding guests – Victoria Beckham, Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony – over dinner at Wolfgang Puck's Cut restaurant in Beverly Hills on Wednesday. The Cruises are expected to continue celebrating this weekend with a post-wedding party for pals who couldn't make it to their lavish Italian wedding.
FROM: People.com Tom & Katie: Their Busy Post-Honeymoon Lives Since they returned from their honeymoon in the Maldives, Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes have been busier than ever, PEOPLE reports in its new issue. The pair spent two weeks after their Nov. 18 nuptials chilling out on a yacht owned by Australian media heir James Packer and at the exclusive Kurumba Resort on a private island. And despite a tropical storm, they were all smiles when they headed home on Dec. 1. Now back in L.A., this weekend they'll throw a post-wedding party at the home of Cruise's longtime producing partner, Paula Wagner, for friends who couldn't make it to their lavish Italian wedding. And Cruise is already getting to work on his latest project: helping run the United Artists movie studio, which he and Wagner are relaunching with MGM. Meanwhile, Holmes and 7-month-old daughter Suri are getting back into the Hollywood social swing. On Dec. 4 they both popped by the Sunset Marquis Hotel & Villas for a visit with Holmes's new BFF, Victoria Beckham, in town for a magazine photo shoot. "They talked about how great the wedding was," says a Beckham friend. They're not the only ones reminiscing about those dazzling nuptials. "There was just a lot of heart and soul," Cruise's Jerry Maguire director, Cameron Crowe, tells PEOPLE. "They're the real deal, and I'm so happy for them." US Weekly Exclusive: Tom's Rep Confirms Wedding Party This Saturday Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes are planning another wedding party to take place December 9 at his producing partner Paula Wagner’s Beverly Hills mansion, Cruise’s rep confirms to Us exclusively. The bash is for friends and family who couldn’t attend the couple's nuptials last month in Italy. The party is fresh on the heels of the couple's 13-day honeymoon. The new Mr. and Mrs. Tom Cruise spent November 19 to December 1 in the Maldives on the Arctic P, a yacht with an onboard doctor (for Suri) and spa therapist. "It was a family occasion," says a source. "They played with Suri all the time, filming her on a camcorder." On Thanksgiving, the group visited a Fesdu Island resort where, says a source, "they sunbathed by the pool, read philosophy books and went snorkeling in the lagoon. Later, they took Suri for a swim." What's next? It’s back to work! Cruise is set to film Lions for Lambs, a war drama, with Meryl Streep and Robert Redford. |
