Guests and fireworks (Italian video): Tom and Katie salute the crowd: Tom & Katie's Armani Wedding: Who Wore What From the moment they arrived in Rome to the moment they left for their honeymoon, Giorgio Armani was the man behind everything that Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes wore throughout the week. And when it came to designing Katie's bridal gown, Armani tells PEOPLE exclusively that he wanted the dress to match Holmes's personality. "Katie wanted a simple, elegant dress that was rich in material with a slim silhouette," he says. "I couldn't have been more in agreement. I wanted to make it modern but at the same time, complement the sweetness and energy she conveys." The result? An off-the-shoulder Armani gown with an ivory silk train adorned in Valenciennes lace and Swarovski beaded crystal embroidery. She accessorized her gown with an ivory tulle floor-length veil and ivory silk shoes. As for Cruise, Armani outfitted him with a navy blue tuxedo from the Giorgio Armani Hand Made to Measure collection. The jacket label read, "Giorgio Armani for Tom Cruise." Armani also dressed the rest of Cruise & Holmes's family. Here are all the details: • Holmes's mom, Kathleen, put on a Giorgio Armani Privé evening dress in rose silk; Her neckline was trimmed with tulle and black embroidery. • Holmes's sister and bridesmaid, Nancy Holmes, wore a black charmeuse, silk-layered evening dress, with an empire waist and floor-length skirt. Her off-the-shoulder neckline was made of black lace. • Cruise's mother Mary Lee Cruise wore a silver silk Giorgio Armani Privé evening dress with rose appliqué detail at the waist and shoulders. • Cruise's sister Cass Cruise wore a deep blue velvet suit with a fitted jacket featuring black taffeta plisse details at the waist. Cruise's kids, Connor and Isabella, also wore Armani during the week. In addition to her satin pale pink dress worn earlier in the week, Isabella wore a sleeveless, ice-colored dress for the rehearsal dinner. Connor, meanwhile, matched his dad, dressing in a navy blue single-breasted suit. Finally, there's Suri. For the wedding, Tom & Katie's 7-month-old daughter wore various layers of organza and chiffon, which, according to Armani, was "inspired by her mother's bridal grown." TOM and KATIE have said "I do" in perfect, fairy-tale fashion and I was there as the wedding of the year happened in the tiny medieval town of Bracciano. My day started at 8 a.m. as I sat in the lobby of the Hotel Hassler -- having some breakfast and watching Tom and Katie's famous friends hit the streets for a few last items before the main event. BROOKE SHIELDS went shopping for baby clothes at Baby DIOR and took us along. At about 4:30 -- the stars began leaving the hotel. WILL and JADA told me that they had no idea what to expect from a castle wedding but were very excited. They planned on leaving immediately after because, as Jada told me, "Will's gotta get back to work." Brooke Shields, looking ravishing in cranberry OSCAR DE LA RENTA, said it was the first time she and husband CHRIS had been away from the kids but were so honored to receive the invitation that they wanted to be here. She also told us she got Tom and Katie a blender as a wedding gift!! It was limo lock from the hotel to Bracciano at about 4:30 as all the celebrity guests left for the wedding. In the town square it was madness as thousands of fans gathered to take pictures and scream their well wishes to the couple throughout the afternoon. Media crews from around the world crammed into the square hoping for a shot of Tom and Katie and one picture was finally taken of Katie leaning out a castle window holding baby SURI. Just before 6 p.m., the castle bells rang out for about two minutes, signifying the couple had finally said "I do." Later on, all of us outside of the castle walls were treated to a serenade by ANDREA BOCELLI -- speakers were placed outside of the castle so that everyone could hear the music... it was quite magical. Hours later as a thick, thick fog rolled in -- fireworks went off celebrating the official union of Tom and Katie -- now Mr. and Mrs. Cruise. It has been a remarkable week for myself and the entire "Entertainment Tonight" crew.
