Katie Holmes: I Have My Wedding Dress Katie Holmes did a lot of shopping on her recent jaunt around Paris, but there's one item she has crossed off her list – a wedding gown. "I already have my dress," Holmes, who is engaged to Tom Cruise, told PEOPLE while touring the City of Light. That didn't stop her from finding plenty of other items to indulge in. The actress, along with pal Victoria Beckham, hit three fashion week shows and did some serious damage at the city's famous shops. "I've been shopping all day," Holmes told PEOPLE on Friday. "They have beautiful things for babies here." Indeed, the new mom scooped up pink finery at Baby Tuileries – and for Mom, eight pairs of Roger Vivier shoes, which start at $650. Paris is a special place for Holmes, 27, who accepted Cruise's marriage proposal atop the Eiffel Tower in June 2005. This time, though, she left her fiancé and baby daughter Suri at home in Los Angeles and flew to Paris for a rendezvous with Beckham, who had "suggested a girls' break," according to a friend. While there she also attended a party for Chanel's Karl Lagerfeld and joined Beckham to visit the showroom of designer Giambattista Valli, where Holmes chose a dress to wear to his show. "She's so tall, but very thin," said a source at Valli. "She fit into the sample size perfectly." On Saturday, Holmes headed to Lake Como, Italy, perhaps to scout out wedding destinations. A date for the wedding is still unknown. Then the friends, who met last year, feasted on fish at the Place de la Madeleine and went to a party at the home of mogul Mohamed Al Faed. The two pressed on the next day, hitting the Chanel and Giambattista Valli shows. “Katie saw a black dress on the Chanel runway and mouthed to Posh, ‘I like that,’” says an insider. At 1:30 a.m., they hit a Chanel party at the VIP Room, where Holmes glowed in a camel coat, despite the heat. “Katie is so confident and glamorous now,” says a source. “Tom has been good for her.” Katie Holmes wants to be mum again The 'Batman Begins' actress - who has a five-month-old daughter, Suri, with fiancée Tom Cruise - is said to have revealed her baby plans to close friend Victoria Beckham during their Paris break. A source told Britain's Daily Star newspaper: "Katie has three sisters so she really wants Suri to have the same sibling bond she enjoyed, a girlfriend to share life with from the word go." Katie and Victoria - who has three sons with her footballer husband David Beckham - apparently swapped baby tips on the trip and Katie is even said to have advised the former Spice Girl on the best ways to conceive a girl. The source added: "Katie was recommended to read 'Gender Giver' by a friend who swears by Gardener's theories. She suggests surrounding yourself with female imagery and one of her top tips is to visit a burlesque show and applaud the female form. She showed the book to Victoria." The pair were clearly determined to follow the book's advice and were reportedly later spotted in the notorious Pigalle Place, also known as Paris' Sex District, enjoying a show and drinks.
