Well, The Gift didn't exactly open like gangbusters this weekend. Here is a blurb from Variety: ``The Gift'' (Viacom's Paramount Classics), a psychological thriller starring Cate Blanchett and Keanu Reeves, grossed about $3.5 million from 805 theaters. The Sam Raimi-directed low-budget film had previously played on one screen in order to qualify for Academy Award consideration. It averaged $4,286 (per screen). Link to article Lena was kind enough to impart some info about Katie's upcoming movie Phone Booth. It was something like a ten day shoot I believe - and Katie only worked about two days. Here's some of what Lena said: Katie played Pamela, Stu Sheppard's girlfriend (Colin Farrell). He's married, so they were having an affair. She arrives at the scene crying. Stu sees her. Stuff is going on between the caller, Stu and his wife, Kelly. Kelly notices Pam. Pam says she knows Stu and gets pulled away from the crowd. Something like that. My hubby started another movie so he didn't work the last 2 days, of which Katie worked. So I don't know really what else happened with her.
