Hi everyone :) KHP is looking for help with several positions: Video/Cap: We hope to continue providing Katie fans with the ability to see her latest appearances on talk shows, or on the evening entertainment programs, etc. It would be great if one person could do both jobs, but if you can cap but not make videos or vice-versa, we can try to work something out. This person should have access to American television programs though, as that's where most of the videos/caps come from. This person(s) should also rotate the old videos on the KHP video page Image posting: We need someone who can upload images to the vast KHP gallery. It would be great if you have some experience with Coppermine or similar galleries. As with all positions, you should also have some knowledge of HTML as you'll need to update the main page/past updates as well. General Site Maintenance: We'll need help with updating certain areas of the site like TV appearances, poll, links, newsletters, etc.. Some HTML ability is needed. We ask that only folks serious in helping KHP for the long term apply please. It has been our experience that people will be enthusiastic in joining a site, but then after a short time they'll lost interest. If you'd like to help, please contact Chaz or Helen. On a personal note, starting January 2006 I will no longer be involved in the daily running of the site. I will continue to own the domain, etc., but after 6+ years it's time to move on. It's been fun, but it's also a tremendous amount of work. Thanks to everyone who has contributed in any way over the years to this sites success. Helen and Meryl are doing a great job, and hopefully we'll find more Katie fans who'll keep KHP up and running for years to come! Chaz |
