Gridskipper's International Gawker Stalker: TomKat, Lievsgiving, Eye Sex

Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes were holding hands in the lobby of the Radisson Hotel New World in Shanghai.
They were leaving as I was entering through a revolving door. I ran into the door and nearly fell over. I caught
myself though, and said “Hi Tom, hi Katie” in a normal, composed voice. Tom twirled around and said with a
million-dollar smile, “Are you OK?” I think I said, “Yes, thanks.” Do I even need to mention he was wearing a
black leather jacket and shades? Tom looked AMAZING (and taller than I expected). I’ve seen rockstars and I’ve
seen local weathermen, but I’ve never seen anyone so goddamned hot. Katie looked severe, but very, very
attractive. She didn’t seem pregnant, but she was wearing a coat.

Tom Cruise caused quite a stir leaping about for the cameras recently. But this time there wasn't a couch in
sight: the 43-year-old was in China filming the latest instalment of the high-tech spy series Mission Impossible.

After jetting in to the city of Shanghai on a private plane, the Hollywood heart-throb actor got right down to
work jumping off roofs and chasing villains.

Having revealed last week that he has bought his own sonogram machine to monitor the progress of his baby,
Tom was obviously keen not to let pregnant fiancée, Katie out of his sight, so he brought her along for the two-
week shoot.

And the Batman actress, who has wound down her acting commitments since announcing she's expecting,
seemed quite unfazed by watching her lover's daredevil stunts.

The couple were in the historic town of Xitang, just west of Shanghai, where the movie's opening scenes are set.
The picturesque canals and bridges of the old centre were closed to ordinary shoppers, but that didn't stop the
actor being mobbed by enthusiastic fans once the cameras stopped rolling.
