KICKING & SCREAMING

Betrothed couple Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise, who announced last week they are expecting their first child together,
watch his daughter, Isabella, 12 (with ex-wife Nicole Kidman), play soccer Saturday in Los Angeles. During the game,
enthusiastic fan Cruise shouted "Good play, Isabella!" and high-fived his fiancée when his daughter's team scored a
goal.

PARENT TRIP

After the game, which ended in a 1-1 tie, Cruise and Holmes both hugged Isabella, then chatted with other young players
and fans before heading to their black SUV. As for their own little one, Cruise's rep tells PEOPLE, "Tom and Katie are
very excited … (Katie) has never felt better."

Katie reveals baby bump at soccer outing

Pregnant Katie Holmes showed off a growing bump yesterday as she watched a football match with Tom
Cruise.

The 26-year-old actress glowed as she sat on the sidelines with her fiancé cheering the side of Cruise's
adopted 12-year-old girl Isabella. Katie was wearing a loose purple top - but her baby bump is already
starting to show.

"They were whispering sweet nothings and kissing," an onlooker said.

"Tom was getting really excited about the game - he was on the edge of his seat.

"But he also couldn't keep his hands off his bride-to-be."

The football match was the pair's first public appearance since they announced Katie is expecting Cruise
is known to be a fan of the beautiful game and is good friends with England captain David Beckham and
wife Victoria.

During the match Holmes was congratulated on her baby news by other parents watching the game and
friends of Tom's daughter.

The couple was seen kissing and hugging each other throughout the match played at a park in Beverly
Hills, California.

The game between Isabella's team 'The Athenas' and rivals 'The Hoods' ended in a 1-1 draw.

After the final whistle Tom ran onto the pitch to shake the hands of all the players.

He then posed for pictures with the star-struck kids - and even some excited parents.

Asked whether he was disappointed by the result Cruise said he was just happy both teams enjoyed the
day.

"They had a lot of fun out there and it was a great match," Cruise said.

The pair were engaged in Paris last June when the 'Top Gun' star proposed at the top of the Eiffel Tower.

They have yet to announce a wedding date.

The trip down the aisle will be Katie's first - Tom was previously married to Mimi Rogers, 53, and Nicole
Kidman, 38. Cruise split with Kidman in 2001 but the couple share two adopted children from their 11-
year marriage, Connor, 10, and soccer-star Isabella.
