15 reasons Katie's all grown up
What a difference a few years make. At 26, the once-shy Katie Holmes has a career
that's on fire, and when it comes to guys, it's an understatement to say the beautiful
brunette has overcome her fear of talking to them. Not only has she snagged a great-
looking, worldly partner, Tom Cruise is actually the guy she had dreamed of ending up
with when she was in high school. As she told Oprah, the girl likes to dream big!
These days, Katie isn't afraid to shoot for the stars when it comes to her career, either.
She just starred in her first blockbuster, Batman Begins, and has several other films in
the works. It's safe to say Katie has matured into one of the most remarkable young
actresses in Hollywood.

I was at a bookstore in Toledo what must have been a couple of years ago, and as I
was sitting in the coffee shop, I looked over and there was Katie Holmes! She had her
head down and was browsing through a few books, and not far from her Chris Klein
was doing the same. And might I say he is even more attractive in person than on
camera. He had on a plaid button down shirt, open with a shirt underneath and a
baseball cap pulled low over his face. They ended up like 2 feet away from me as they
waited for coffee in line. I chose not to bother them as it was a bookstore and probably
one of few places they might find some peace and quiet.

I attended the post movie premiere party of 'Pieces of April' which starred Katie
Holmes. At the party I saw her with her then fiance Chris Klein. I went up to her and
shook her hand and told her the movie was very sweet and funny. She was very
gracious and said 'thanks'. She had on a very pretty floor length red and white print
gown.

Saw Katie Holmes a few months ago at Brother Jimmy's in NYC. She was sitting at
the back booth with her hair in a messy ponytail and cute eyeglasses. A lot of people
walked by to kind of check her out, and after a few minutes she had a bartender stand
there and guard her booth, or block people from looking. She looked cute and pretty—
like your typical college student.

Zeta-Jones and Bullock 'Too Old' for 'Wonder Woman'
Hollywood beauties Catherine Zeta-Jones and Sandra Bullock have been dismissed as too old to play superheroine
Wonder Woman in a new movie version of the TV series - by the show's original star. Lynda Carter, who starred in
the original 1970s show, would prefer to see Buffy The Vampire Slayer creator Joss Whedon cast a young actress
in the lead role rather than any established stars who have been linked with the part. She says, "It should be an
unknown actress who's about 20." The OC's Mischa Barton and Tom Cruise's fiancee Katie Holmes are said to
be amongst Whedon's prime candidates for his 2007 release.
