Graffiti artist Miguel Paredes rented a room in the Essex House on the same floor as the suite occupied by Tom-Kat last week. When Paredes stopped by his room before his art show "New York Stories" at the Agora Gallery, hotel security would not allow him inside his room until the couple left for the premiere of "War of the Worlds."
