Just as the 42-year-old Cruise was tongue-tied a few weeks ago when asked how and where they first met, so was Holmes, 26, when Letterman asked for those same details. Christopher Nolan needs for his own Batman a Rachel Dawes, the man in black's love interest. She will be younger than the other feminine characters in the other Batman movies, brown hair for more mystery and so beautiful the hero will be under her spell. A terribly efficient woman in distress. And as efficiency is concerned, she made her proofs.
