Thanks to MovieSleuth for the link to this nice Newsweek article on Batman Begins: ================= USA Weekend had an article on Christian Bale that features the following Katie quote:

Let's change that by voting here: I also noticed when looking up the Katie on Letterman info that TV Guide.com has a poll asking "Who do you think is the hottest hunk or babe from this summer's movies?" Eh...I've been going back and forth with myself wondering whether or not to post this gossip piece from today's Page Six. I was just going to post the link, but then I'd be making you subscribe, and that's not fun. Anyway, I decided to post it, so please understand that I don't believe Katie is engaged or has converted to Scientology (yet). We'll probably see other news outlets pick up on this "story" and run with it in the coming days. Again, consider the source and my warning: CRUISE POPS QUESTION May 29, 2005 -- KATIE Holmes is not sporting a ring yet, but she is engaged to Tom Cruise. Just a month after the two started publicly canoodling to express their "love," Holmes packed her bags and moved in with the star and, pals say, she's accepted a marriage proposal. We also hear that Holmes, a Christian, is converting to Scientology. One pal said, "She had her initial meeting with Tom at the Scientology Center in L.A., and she goes with him now a lot. She is converting." Holmes has also switched agents at the Creative Artists Agency - from her longtime rep to Cruise's rep. Cruise's sister/rep, Lee Anne DeVette, was traveling and didn't return calls. Meanwhile, after Cruise's over-the-top burst of emotion on "Oprah" last week, there's a new hobby in L.A. among agents and others, called "Doing the Cruise."
