I hate when they report that someone (i.e. Katie) is "in talks" to appear in some movie. You usually never hear anything about them being "signed" until they are shown on ET hanging out on the set. Or, it's reported that someone else has been cast in their role. We are sort of in a state of limbo waiting to see if Katie will indeed take the role in Shame.. .. That said, reading part of an interview with Dennis Quaid in Newsday this morning, I think it's safe to say that Katie will be in the movie: ========= Fast Chat ....But what's on your radar? I wrote and am going to direct a film this summer. It's called "Shame on You," about this bandleader from the 40's named Spade Cooley. It's basically the O.J. story. I'm going to play Spade. Katie Holmes is going to play my wife........ ========= As this project seems to be Quaid's baby, he should know more than anyone about the casting, and the way he says that Katie is going to play his wife makes me think it's a done deal.. :)
