..Katie Holmes' days with Glamour started early. "Probably when I was 6 or 7 years old. I had older sisters that had Glamour around," she said about the first time she read Glamour. "I was tomboy, though," Holmes cautioned. "I remember when I bought my first kind of expensive sweater and it was like a 200 dollar sweater, that was a big milestone for that sort of thing. I'm a jeans and T-shirts gal.” Holmes looked anything but tomboy in a scarlet floor length gown, designed by Carolina Herrera. The young starlet presented Herrera with “The Glamour Fashion Force" award.
