Over the past weeks, folks have been posting on the First Daughter thread on the mb about how their local mall has been taken over by Katie. Well, not exactly Katie - more like her image in banners/posters/placards advertising First Daughter. Thanks to Robby who went and took these pics from his local mall.. (click on pic to enlarge)
This must be a great sight for Katie fans, but I can see that if you are not the biggest Katie-lover, it may be a bit much. The following is from the IMDb mb: I went to my local mall to see NAPOLEON DYNAMITE at the cineplex. Well, first I'm greeted by a smirking Katie Holmes on two separate billboards by the entrance...found out it was the same at every entrance. Inside the mall, there were huge banners that you couldn't escape seeing, all with Katie Holmes with a sickening smile on her face. I finally counted them, 30 of the damn things, huge banners. I got so sick of looking at Katie Holmes within a few minutes, that I ducked into the Food Court to escape her face, got my spicy chicken burrito from Taco Bell, sit down at the table to enjoy it and there's a cardboard placard on the table with Katie Holmes smirking at me while I eat. I glance around, and that same placard was on all 160 or so tables. I finally ran practically screaming to the sanctuary of the theater where I'm greeted by more Katie Holmes posters and then safely inside the auditorium sit down feeling safe from her when the trailers start leading off with the trailer for the movie. I had nightmares last night with Katie smirking down at me. Sorry, I don't think I'm going to see this. If your mall has been invaded by Katie, send us the pics and we'll try to post them at KHP :) |
